  7.     Just when it looked as if the world's most lovable frog
  8. might be put out to swamp, KERMIT has a new voice and a new
  9. lease on life. The amphibian will join the rest of his pals to
  10. salute their creator, the late Jim Henson, in a CBS-TV special
  11. to air this week. For 35 years Henson had been Kermit's voice,
  12. and after his death last May many feared Kermit would never
  13. speak again. But, says Cheryl Henson, Jim's daughter, "we found
  14. the kids really wanted to keep Kermit going." So an
  15. unidentified Muppet player was called upon to croak for Kermit.
